24th May 2023, Mumbai : Australian-born singer, musician, and TV star Rolf Harris was also a serial sex offender. The 93-year-old, who was “very sick” ever since getting out of prison six years ago, has passed away. His demise was not explained, but reports indicated that he had been battling throat cancer. • According to PA, Harris’ throat cancer and “old age frailty” were the causes of death. Author and private eye William Merritt claimed Harris was “fighting a cancer of the neck, and gargles when he talks” in a book on Harris’ legal proceedings. Even if he’s hard to grasp, he still manages to entertain. On May 10, he passed away in Bray, Berkshire, England.
• Rolf Harris repeatedly assaulted kids and women between the ages of 7 and 19. He received a five years and nine months in prison term in 2014, when he was 84. His crimes had been committed as early as 1970.
• For Queen Elizabeth II’s 80th birthday, Harris once painted a picture of her. The most well-known children’s entertainer was Rolf, who in the 1960s had a number of hits to his credit, including Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport, Jake the Peg, and Two Little Boys. Bindi, the couple’s daughter, was born on March 10, 1964. She studied painting in college and is an abstract artist.
