15th March, Mumbai: Minhyuk, a member of the South Korean band MONSTA X, will formally enlist in the military on April 4, the vocalist said while posting a touching handwritten statement.
The singer, who is 29 years old, followed group leader Shownu, who enrolled in the military in July 2021 and is the second member of Monsta X to do so. A few days after Minhyuk enlists, on April 21, Shownu will be released from his service.
According to Soompi, on March 13, Minhyuk posted a handwritten note to the group’s fan page alerting followers that he will be enlisting in the military in April. “Greetings, I’m Minhyuk. I feel sorry since I think our Monbebe (MONSTA X’s fan club) entered this post already feeling depressed after reading the words “this is Minhyuk,” he said in the letter.
“I won’t be able to visit you all very often for a very brief amount of time starting on April 4 due to my national service,” Minhyuk stated. “The fact that I won’t be able to make posts, promote, upload images, let you know when I finish working out, do bubble live (broadcasts), and do everything else Monbebe enjoys for a short period saddens my heart the most. Besides that, I’m going to go with a smile on my face!”
In addition, Minhyuk said that he would utilise the approaching period as an opportunity to fortify himself and develop into a calmer version of himself. I am anticipating Monbebe’s even greater affection, hehe. Don’t be too sad, though, because I’m not moving very far. Monbebe will probably be quite upset, but I hope not you! I appreciate your constant and unconditional affection for me, a regular person. I’m also sorry because I feel like I can never, ever return it well.
As he wrote her letter’s conclusion, Minhyuk said, “During the period we cannot see each other, I will be healthy in mind and body and return after developing into a cool person. I adore you so much, Monbebe. Thank you, and let’s meet up next year in a happy mood. I’ll be back very soon!”
Singer and MC Lee Min-hyuk, better known by his stage name Minhyuk, is from South Korea. He made his acting debut with the South Korean boy band Monsta X, which was established in 2015 as a result of Mnet’s No. Mercy survival competition.
