4th May,2024, Mumbai:
This year’s World Laughter Day is on May 5, which is always observed on the first Sunday in May. Laughter unites individuals. The finest way to end a difficult day is to laugh out loud. Is it, however, restricted to that? Laughter also improves the endorphins released to the brain, promotes the absorption of oxygen in our bodies, and expels stagnant air.

As they say, “Laughter is the best medicine.” A good laugh really does raise the spirits. Ali and I each laugh a lot; together, we make the group clowns. We frequently chuckle at jokes and astute remarks. We think a smile’s curve clarifies everything. - Hegde Varsha
I am the most insane individual. I simply never stop roasting people, which is something I really enjoy doing. I never mean to do harm to anyone. I just walk into a room and my acting and sense of humour make people laugh. All I want is for everyone to laugh around me. I used to be a Zumba instructor because I wanted to spread happiness and laughter to others. I also truly radiate laughter for myself. I adore laughing because it improves your mood, makes you feel lighter, helps you forget your worries, and promotes mental wellness. So let’s all laugh for at least fifteen minutes per day. - Deepali Pansare
On a terrible day, I laugh a lot, even at ridiculous things, and I laugh all day. If you merely put on a phoney smile for a minute, it seems to raise your spirits if you’re feeling down. I make sure to make them laugh if they’re not feeling well. - Shubhnagi Atre
I have to admit that I have a slight giggle addiction. I’ve had it since I was a young child, and Ashi, my daughter, too carries on the same peculiarity. But that only shows our friendship is unbreakable and we’re best friends! Even though I’m a tough mother, I can make people laugh. Ashi once had an assignment for school that was due the next day, but she hadn’t done it. After a moment of shock, I understood that she was playing a practical joke on me! I was lecturing her about the “importance of time” while she was under my influence when she burst into laughter and smiles. I learned from that experience that comedy can be a really useful tool in parenting. It has the power to ease tense situations and provide a smile to even the most grumpy person. So, buddies, let’s continue to laugh! To all of you, a happy World Laughter Day! Laughing strengthens your bonds with your loved ones and is the best medicine. Haste Rahiye Aur Hasate Rahiye Humesha! - Ankit Bathla
I’m not sure, but a grin makes others happy, and laughter, in my opinion, comes from the inside out. According to Sadhguru, as long as you are content to get up in the morning and be alive, that should be reason enough to smile, laugh, and celebrate life. - Namita Lal
Haha, I do enjoy chuckling. All I want is to be able to laugh far more than I do. And everyone, everyone, everyone reminded me of the world’s laughter day every time, just like you. I wonder why I don’t laugh a lot more. I wish I had a lot more laughter. And I would really like to laugh a lot more. And really, I have an incredible family and some fantastic friends who I spend time with when I’m with my pals. And when we’re together, we laugh a lot. It’s simply that everyone is so busy these days that we don’t spend as much time together. But the truth is that I simply enjoy laughing, and I laugh heartily. In fact, laughing gives me cramps. And it really seems like such a big deal.My favourite activities are laughing, singing, and dancing.
