27th May 2023, Mumbai: Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently shared his perspective on romance, comparing it in the context of both bustling cities and quaint towns. According to Siddiqui, genuine love can only flourish within small communities due to the absence of harsh judgment that often prevails in larger urban areas. He considers himself to be a romantic, appreciating the profound emotions and connections that love brings.
Interestingly, Siddiqui’s remarks coincided with the turmoil surrounding his personal life, particularly his troubled marriage to Aaliya Siddiqui, his ex-wife. The actor has been making headlines in recent months due to his private struggles. Aaliyahas accused Siddiqui’s mother of harassment and claimed that he has “disowned” their children, Shora and Yani.
When discussing the disparity between love in small towns and big cities, Siddiqui emphasized that true romance thrives in tiny villages. In metropolitan areas, compromise and adaptation often overshadow the purity of love. Conversely, individuals in small towns readily embrace vulnerability, unencumbered by judgments passed upon one another. In these intimate settings, love can bloom without the burden of financial considerations. Siddiqui exemplified this sentiment by quoting the phrase, “Ishqaur pyaar abhi bhi bacha hua hai small towns mein,” signifying that love still perseveres in such locales.
When questioned about his own romantic inclinations, Siddiqui responded affirmatively, describing himself as a romantic at heart. He believes that love is a crucial element in life and expresses his admiration for various aspects of existence, including his films. Siddiqui acknowledges the significance of romance in our lives, suggesting that everyone could benefit from its touch, though he acknowledges its scarcity in today’s world.
Recently, Siddiqui’s latest film, “Jogira Sara Ra Ra,” was released, featuring him alongside Neha Sharma. The actor has an exciting lineup of upcoming projects, including “Adbhut,” “Haddi,” “Noorani Chehra,” “Tiku Weds Sheru,” and “Sheru.” Fans eagerly anticipate these ventures, showcasing Siddiqui’s versatile acting prowess.
