17th March, Mumbai: On Friday, March 17, Taylor Swift released four brand-new songs, heightening the excitement for the commencement of her highly anticipated The Eras Tour.
In her Instagram Stories the day before, she announced the release of four previously unreleased songs today at midnight. The four tracks include “If This Was a Movie (Taylor’s Version),” “All of the Women You Loved Before,” “Eyes Wide,” and “Safe & Sound,” which Swift re-recorded with Joy Williams and John Paul White for The Hunger Games, a soundtrack in 2012, a action survival movie.
In anticipation of Taylor Swift’s impending arrival, Glendale, Arizona, has been temporarily christened Swift City and will host the first two concerts of the Eras Tour on Friday (March 17). A changing lineup of supporting performers will provide support for the tour, including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, Muna, Haim, Gayle, Gracie Abrams, and Owenn.
While three of the songa are re-recorded version of Taylor’s previous songs, there’s one brand-new, never heard before song. Titled “All Of The Girls You Loved Before”, the song’s lyrics appear to be Swift’s reflections on her love partner’s past—possibly boyfriend Joe Alwyn’s—as well as her appreciation to her predecessors for moulding her partner into the person he is today.
Swift’s lyrics, which include “Every woman that you knew brought you here / I wanna teach you how forever feels like” and “All of the girls you’ve loved before (Ooh) / Made you the one I’ve fallen for / Every dead-end street led you straight to me,” show us fans how serious her and Alwyn’s relationship is, she considers the radiationship to be fated and an endgame.
In addition to two re-recorded albums, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version), Swift has released four original studio albums since the Reputation tour ended in 2018: Lover, 2020’s Folklore and Evermore, and Midnights. The Eras Tour is going to be Swifts’s first tour since the Reputation Stadium Tour.
Taylor Swift’s releases a surprise for her fans ahead of her Eras tour!
