“Salaar” – The Epic Saga Set for December Release
Scheduled for release on December 22nd, “Salaar” is poised to be a two-part cinematic spectacle in the vein of “KGF.” Prithviraj’s portrayal of Varadharaja Mannaar is intriguing, showcasing a blend of gravitas and tranquility. His attire and color palette, predominantly black and grey, exude an air of mystery and chaos, while his character sports a septum ring and a distinctive black tilak on his forehead, embodying a majestic persona.
Prithviraj’s Remarkable Return: From Injury to “Salaar”
The actor’s journey to this role has been marked by resilience and determination. Prithviraj, who recently recuperated from an injury and subsequent knee surgery following an on-set accident during the filming of his Malayalam project “Vilayath Buddha,” took a voluntary break from his acting commitments. After a period of healing, he is now back in action, actively participating in the preparations and filming of his ongoing projects.
“L2: Empuraan” – The Next Chapter in Prithviraj’s Directorial Journey
Prithviraj’s directorial career also takes center stage with the upcoming “L2: Empuraan,” a sequel to his 2019 debut directorial “Lucifer.” The film, starring Mohanlal in the lead role, was a massive success in the Malayalam film industry. The sequel, “L2,” is poised to be even grander, with Lyca Productions co-producing their first Malayalam venture. This marks the third collaboration between Prithviraj and Mohanlal, both in the director’s chair and on-screen, following “Lucifer” and the 2022 film “Bro Daddy.”
“Salaar” – The Banger by Prashant Neel
Directed by the acclaimed “KGF” director, Prashant Neel, “Salaar” promises to be a larger-than-life cinematic experience, akin to the “KGF” franchise. Originally scheduled for an earlier release, the film was delayed due to extensive VFX work. Now, “Salaar” is set to make its grand entrance on December 22nd, where it will face off against other Christmas releases, including Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki” and Dhanush’s “Captain Miller.”
