Rajpal Yadav, known for his unmatched comedic timing and iconic roles in movies like Chup Chup Ke, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Dhol and many more, is promoting his new movie-Kaam Chalu hai, which is going to be released soon on the OTT platform Zee5. During a recent interview for his movie campaign, he was asked about his aspirations to join politics. Rajpal Yadav responded to the question with interesting opinions.

On the 22nd of January, the whole nation was celebrating the consecration of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The temple was being built after a long wait of more than 500 years. Many celebrities posted their warm wishes and expressed their happiness in the same regards. Rajpal Yadav was one of them. Rajpal Yadav had posted a video, in which he could be seen dancing ecstatically, celebrating the homecoming of Shree Ram. After this video surfaced, many people commented that Rajpal Yadav was doing that in order to get some political gains. Some people even speculated that he was about to join politics. People had claimed that Rajpal Yadav showed his support to the Bharatiya Janata Party through the video.
Social Media is good but has its shortcomings
When the interviewer asked Rajpal Yadav about his reactions on seeing such comments and speculations surfacing on the internet after his viral video on Ram Mandir Celebration, he replied saying that the social media is good on many levels but it definitely has its shortcomings that needs to be dealt with.
I go to all religious functions
Rajpal Yadav said that he feels so confident and faithful for his own religion that it is natural tendency of his to shower love to all the other religions. He clarified that due to his presence in religious gatherings from time to time, people wonder if he is going to join the section, or if he is doing so to woo a certain political or ideological lot. He denied all such claims and said that he just likes to appear at different religious platforms and participate in their celebration.
Is Rajpal Yadav Coming To Politics?
When asked about his plans to join politics, Rajpal Yadav said that there is absolutely no chance of him joining politics at least until 2030. He shared that his Guru’s last words to him in 2020 was to focus on acting and becoming better as a performer. He said he is happy with what he is doing currently and will continue with the same.
I am already in politics, do not need a debut
Rajpal Yadav also shared that he had formed a political party named Sarv Sambhav Party and 150 candidates contested 2017 elections under the party sign. He added that he does not need to debut into politics, he has already been into politics for so long. He even giggled saying that if he had to contest elections 2024 lok sabha elections would have been his fifth election starting from 2004 Lok Sabha.
