Gia and ‘Kaam Chalu Hain’
Gia Manek, famous for potraying the role of “Gopi Bahu” in Saath Nibhana Saathiya was recently interviewed exclusively by The Filmy Charcha. Here the actress shared her view on the influence of films on individuals, especially children. Well, ‘Gopi Bahu’ fans cannot seem to contain their excitement as the TV actress will be making her Film debut soon. She will be seen in the movie “Kaam Chalu Hain” along with Rajpal Yadav.
Gia strongly believes that films have an impact on the audience, whomsoever it may be, like from the different ages to different backgrounds, films always have some kind of impact on the audience. “Films play an important role in influencing people, especially children”, said by Gia.
Gia Talks about ‘Films Influencing Children’
“Children in my area, like where I live, get so very influenced by films. Like they watch something, think that they are the same, even if they aren’t but they get influenced. Half of the times the films they watch aren’t even accurate or appropriate” expressed by Gia. She urged the producers and filmmakers to make films that are precise and flawless as nobody knows who, where and at what age will be watching a film and how will it be impacting them. She believes that after something has an impact, it definitely will impact the brain in some way which will later impact the person’s life.
She compared children to clay, she said, “Parents should be careful about their children and the film choices as it affects them, because children at a young age are like clay ‘they can be moulded’, so in what way a film moulds them is unlikely what the parents want.”
Self Esteem or Self Doubt; Gia and her Advises for Indians
She also expressed concern on the self esteem path of children. “Why are some children confident and some so very low on the same? There is always a route about the low self esteem and parents should figure that out. Probably the kid with a good amount of confidence is watching age appropriate films and probably the films are influencing him in a good way. It is not compulsory that only films influence kids, but I still feel they do impact, little or more” said by Gia.
Gratitude for the Upcoming Film
After expressing her concerns on children being impacted by films, she expressed joyousness for being a part of her upcoming film. Gia Manek said, “I am very happy to be a part of ‘Kaam Chalu Hain’ because this film will definitely set a good example across India, for any age category, this film will have a good impact only”
