Rishi Kapoor was such an actor, whose acting people were crazy about. On April 30, 2020, he said goodbye to this world. Even though, he is not among us today. But he has many memories. Rishi Kapoor had one wish, which could not be fulfilled while he was alive. This unfulfilled and last wish of his was connected to his son Ranbir Kapoor.
Rishi Kapoor’s wish was connected to son Ranbir?
It has been 4 years since Rishi Kapoor left this world. But even today people watch his films with great interest. Before dying, Rishi Kapoor had mentioned one such wish of his, which he wanted to see fulfilled while he was alive. But his last wish could not be fulfilled. Rishi Kapoor had said in an interview for his son Ranbir Kapoor that he should also settle down now. The father-son relationship between Ranbir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor was quite sour and sweet. Ranbir Kapoor had told in an interview that Rishi Kapoor had slapped him. Rishi and Ranbir used to fight with each other and were also seen standing together in every difficulty. But before saying goodbye to the world, Rishi Kapoor wanted to see his son Ranbir Kapoor married.
What was the wish?
Referring to this, he had said, “I also want Ranbir to settle down now. I also want her to have children and settle down.” Rishi Kapoor wanted to feed his grandchildren. This was his last wish, which could not be fulfilled while he was alive and remained incomplete. Neetu Kapoor had also once talked about this wish of hers. However, now Ranbir Kapoor has married actress Alia Bhatt. Both of them also have a daughter, whom they have named Raha.
Rishi Kpoor wanted to work in films till his last breath?
In an interview, Anoop Jalota had talked about the days of Rishi Kapoor when he was undergoing cancer treatment in America. Jalota had said, “He did not feel like living in America and he was missing his country a lot. He wanted that somehow his treatment should end as soon as possible so that they could return to their country. He wanted to work in films till his last breath. He used to miss his acting a lot”. Anoop Jalota added, “He used to say, ‘I am a person who shoots every day, I don’t feel like sitting like this.’” He was so passionate about his work that even while sitting in America, he used to read and ask for scripts from filmmakers.
