4th April,2024, Mumbai: On April 2, actress Zareen Khan attended the 3rd National Transgender Award 2024 in New Delhi as the Chief Guest. With her attendance, the actress—who has been vocally promoting gender equality and social causes—emphasized the significance of inclusivity and empowerment.

More Details About The Award Night
The Indian government is hosting a major event called the 3rd National Transgender Award 2024, or “Adhinariswar,” to commemorate the LGBTQAI+ community in the country. This event, which was organised by Laxmi Narayan Tripathi (Gaurav Trust), honoured distinguished people from a variety of backgrounds for their services to the local area and society as a whole.
At the function, Salma Khan received the Lifetime Achievement Award, while the Path Breaker Award, Trans Allyship Award, and Organisational Award went to Sita (Delhi), Rachana (Telangana), Gauri Sawant (Maharashtra), Samanaacha (Manipur), Nakshatra (Rajasthan), R Jeeva (Tamil Nadu), Aarti Yadav (Andhra Pradesh), Ankura (Gujarat), Rahul Mitra (Madhya Pradesh), and Dr. Aqsa Shaikh (Uttar Pradesh), respectively. The winners of the Vidhya Award were Padma Iyer and Dr. Bela Sharma.
