23rd May 2023, Mumbai : The Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE), represented by Ashfaque Khopekar and Babubhai Thiba, organised the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards 2023 to celebrate 25 years of Indian cinema and its journey, which is backed by a rich history. The event featured award winners from the Hindi film, OTT, and TV industries as well as accolades for the Marathi, Gujarati, and Bhojpuri film industries.

Best Actor Male to Anupam Kher, Most Inspiring Actor – Mahima Chaudhary, Best Supporting Actor Female – Neena Gupta, Best Actor Negative Role – Abhimanyu Singh, Best Singer Female – Jyotica Tangri, Best Music Director – Amaal Malik, Lifetime Achievement Award – Ramesh Sippy, 50 Years of outstanding contribution to Cinema – K C Bokadia.

Beautiful Shanthi Priya, the incredibly gifted Sandeep Soparrkar, and singer performer Jyotika Tangri all gave mesmerising performances during the event. In addition to Shadma Abbas Khan, the daughter of the famous Ghulam Mustafa Khan, celebrity columnist Nisha Jamval, actor Gauri Tonk, and author Nisha Jamval also made honorary appearances at the prestigious Awards ceremony.
