23rd May 2023,Mumbai: Ram Charan spoke at the G20 Summit on travelling to Kashmir in 1986 with his famous actor father Chiranjeevi. The Naatu Naatu song was played as the RRR actor danced.
Ram Charan, the actor of RRR, is frequently seen representing Indian cinema at Hollywood events and speaking about his career, the success of “Naatu Naatu,” and a variety of other topics. This time, RC attends the G20 conference with important figures to represent the Indian film industry. During his address, Ram Charan recalled travelling to Kashmir in 1986 with his megastar father Chiranjeevi to film one of his flicks. “Kashmir is that kind of area; I’ve been visiting since 1986, and my father did a lot of shooting in Sonamarg and Gulmarg. In 2016, I shot in this auditorium. This place has a certain enchantment, and visiting Kashmir gives you such a weird experience that it grabs everyone’s attention”, according to Ram Charan. Film tourism for Economic Growth & Cultural Preservation was the topic of the panel discussion.
However, Ram Charan’s Naatu Naatu dance with representatives from all over the world was the event’s high point. As RC danced to the beat of an Oscar-winning song, the crowd at the location cheered.
Has Ram Charan made any mention of receiving a Hollywood film offer?
The Rangasthalam actor also hinted that he may fly outside of India for a shoot if he received an offer for a Hollywood movie. When asked about his desire to be true to his culture while filming in India, RC replied, “I want to explore more of it. I want everyone to know how strongly we feel about being Indian. Our culture is quite robust. Our stories have a lot of dignity. These days, when you see it, it’s an Indian story, not a South or North Indian movie. These revelations have finally reached other nations.”
