To which the Darlings star shared his thoughts by saying, “It takes a toll on me. Most of the times mujhe darr laga rehta hai ki log mere baare mein kya sochenge? But Ek-Do past experience aise rahe hai one of which is the movie i did ‘She’, Tab mai bohot dara hua tha ki kya hoga kya hoga log kya bolenge but then i gave it a chance and people started to enjoy. Unko ye samjh mein aa gaya ki ye ek Abhineta hai aur ye ek kirdaar nibha rahe hai bas. Dekhiye, ghuma-firake hum sab chahte hai ki log hume pasand karein aur inn Kirdaaro ka Bojjh mujhpar nahi rahe. Baki aap log pyaar dete rahenge toh shayad ye bhi safal ho jaata hai.”
translation- (It takes a toll on me. Most of the times i’m afraid of what people would thing about me watching my roles and characters in a particular film. I have had past experiences when i was too afraid to do a role like this basically a very negitive and toxic character. Lets say the film ‘She’ if you have to name one. But then, people started liking me as an actor as they now knew the difference about an actor and the actor playing a character. They started to enjoying my roles eventually. And anyway, all we actors want is the love, appreciation that we did a successful job. If people keep showering me with love, i am sure i’ll keep improving and entertaining.)
