The success of Ayushmann Khurrana’s recently released medical comedy Doctor G has him smiling. The Anubhuti Kashyap-directed film has a distinctive plot, just like his critically lauded prior efforts. The movie premiered on October 14 in theatres.
Ayushmann mentioned his favourite aspect of Mumbai. “Parity”, he said. “Since there isn’t as much show-off in Mumbai as there is in Punjabi culture, I think there is more equality and less braggadocio. Regardless of origin, a person is respected here if they have talent. The best thing is that.”
Ayushmann was asked what one characteristic of Chandigarh he would like to bring to Mumbai, and he responded, “Of course, cleanliness.”
Speaking of Doctor G, he will be seen as a gynaecologist in the medical drama movie. Shefali Shah and Rakul Preet Singh are also featured in the film’s ensemble cast.
