The world of cinema bids farewell to a true stalwart as veteran film producer and star secretary Inder Raj Bahl peacefully passed away at the age of 92. His illustrious career spanning decades has left an indelible mark on Bollywood, with iconic projects such as the Hema Malini-Dharmendra starrer Dream Girl, Swami, Shaukeen, Banaras, and many others.
A Pillar of Strength
Veteran producer Rikku Rakeshnath, who was also close to Bahl, confirmed the news of his death, saying solemnly, “He has passed away, and the prayer meet is on Monday.” But in a moving social media message, his son Bunty Bahl captured his father’s spirit so masterfully. “He lived his life to the fullest and always led by example,” said Bunty. He is our family’s rock and will always hold a special place in our hearts. cherished memories by his spouse, kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren!
A Fond Farewell
As friends, family, and admirers prepare to bid their final goodbyes, the prayer meet for Inder Raj Bahl will be held on 26th February from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Iskon Temple, Juhu. Amidst the sorrow, Bunty also shared poignant memories of his father, reminiscing, “Shall always miss your advice & The Right Things to do in life-never hurt or harm anyone ever-like you are-be a good human being.”

Bunty went on to say, “He lived his life king-size and gave us all the freedom / knowledge / liberties & love all his life,” in a heartfelt homage. incredibly upbeat and sensible in person. Most incredible human being who approached every circumstance with optimism and found answers rather than making things worse. Never in his life did or thought poorly of anyone.
