Kyunki baaki raha to kuch aur, kuch bhi nahin (Tell me… how many people did you kill? Tell me… how much did you enjoy it? Unaccountable, it has been going on, so now you have to pay for these crimes. Because now, nothing else is left).”
At the conclusion of the teaser, Sunny enters the lift with Kennedy and, upon seeing Charlie, lets out a brief giggle. Before that, Kennedy is yelled at by an unseen figure who demands to know who he is. What’s your name, please? Later this month, Kennedy will screen in the Midnights Screening Section of the 76th Cannes Film Festival. Megha Burman, Abhilash Thapliyal, and Mohit Takalkar are also featured.Anurag said in a statement, “I’ve lived with the character for a very long time, ever since I started writing for Sudhir Mishra, who used to tell me tales of this crazy policeman.
Kennedy was created when I took the cop from Sudhir Mishra’s stories and placed him in the context of an occurrence that occurred in Mumbai years later during a lockdown. It’s one of those ideas that just pops into your head, and you write nonstop until it’s finished. Then, I had the good fortune to come across others who shared my convictions, and everything fell into place.-
