It all began with speculations of Kartik Aaryan replacing Akshay Kumar in the movie, which was later denied. However, Kartik’s introduction as a new character was rumoured. In a surprising turn of events, the makers have received a notice from T-Series for a shocking reason.
Despite the fact that the film has started production and a photo of the leading actors has been shared online, Hera Pheri 3 has encountered legal issues even before completing 50% of its shoot.
T-Series has issued a public notice to the makers of Hera Pheri 3,claiming exclusive rights to all the audio and visual rights of every song in the Hera Pheri franchise, as per the notice released in a trade magazine. The notice states that T-Series is the sole and exclusive right holder of all the copyright of all “Music and Audio Visual Song Rights” of the Franchise Film, in all modes, mediums and formats, whether existing now or arising in the future, throughout the world and in perpetuity.
The notice released by T-Series, as reported in the trade magazine, states that the production company is the exclusive owner of all copyright for the music and audio visual song rights of the entire Hera Pheri franchise, including all modes, mediums, and formats throughout the world and in perpetuity. The notice also reveals that the music and audio visual song rights were assigned to T-Series by Base Industries Group. The notice serves as a public announcement to the film industry and the general public regarding T-Series’ claim to the franchise’s music and audio visual song rights.
If you are not aware, Hera Pheri 3 will be directed by Farhad Samji and there are rumours that Sanjay Dutt might be playing the antagonist in the film. However, there has been no official confirmation from the makers yet regarding the star cast and the director of the film.
