23rd June 2023,Mumbai: According to Kangana Ranaut, the bad reviews that her debut film, Tiku Weds Sheru, is receiving are the result of a “smear campaign” run by the “movie mafia.” She has urged audiences to see the movie and not rely on “paid reviews” and “fake trends.” “Movie mafia doing everything to harm my film, fake reviews and smear campaigns started even before its release,” wrote Kangana on Instagram Stories. In any case, it’s available for streaming right now. Please see it independently, or only ask your friends or people you know about the reviews of the movie if they saw it first. Don’t follow paid or phoney trends.
“I started when I was 16; if you want to pursue a career in film, it’s preferable to start young, but the problem arises if you play a flower on the wall, are exploited just for your youth, and are given no lines, roles, or opportunities… Please understand that whatever mafia PR is attempting to accomplish with the age dispute is failing. Why don’t you work on your own projects while re-watching TWS?” Kangana said on Instagram Stories.
In a different Story, Kangana shared a photo of herself and Irrfan Khan along with the caption, “Fun facts… Age disparity between Irrfan Khan and Kangana Ranaut, who were the original TWS picks, is over 20 years. Finally, who did the film Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur – Age gap more than 20 years.”
Avneet is 21 and Nawazuddin is 49. When their kiss appeared in the Tiku Weds Sheru teaser, many people on Reddit were “grossed-out.” Someone commented, “It’s so disappointing to see Avneet Kaur, who is just 21, paired opposite someone (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), who is 49.” Among the comments was “Shocking how it’s coming from Kangana.” The movie’s producer is Kangana Ranaut.“
Romance is ageless”, according to Nawazuddin. “The young men’s lack of romance is the problem. We come from a time when romance was different. For years, we would be in love and in ‘ishq.’ Due to the ‘nalli’ (useless) nature of today’s youth, Shah Rukh Khan still plays romantic parts. They are unfamiliar with love.”
