Adipurush, Om Raut’s much anticipated direction, has just released its debut track. The song’s spectacular opening sequence, “Jai Shri Ram,” features Kriti Sanon as the kidnapped Janaki in Lanka and Prabhas’s Raghava, who is preparing to go to war to save her. The song was written by Manoj Muntashir Shukla and features music by Ajay-Atul.
Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam are the five languages in which Jai Shri Ram has been published. In the song, Kriti portrays Janaki, who is longing to be saved, in one of her most stunning roles. To fight Saif Ali Khan’s Lankesh, Raghava, played by Prabhas, teams up with his brother Lakshman (Sunny Singh) and Bajrang (Devdatta Nage). Some of the song’s highlights include Raghava and his vanar sena, which consists of large gorillas, building a bridge out of floating rocks with the words “Jai Shri Ram” engraved on them and then attacking Lanka.
The usage of VFX is still the movie’s biggest talking point. Although Saif’s Lankesh was only partially shown in the movie’s teaser, his character isn’t depicted at all in the song. The initial teaser of the movie received criticism from viewers for Saif’s “objectionable” appearance as Lankesh, however the trailer was well received.
On Saturday in Mumbai, the singing pair Ajay-Atul performed the Adipurush song Jai Shri Ram live orchestra. At a major event in Mumbai, they introduced it with a performance by more than 30 chorus singers.
On June 16, the movie will be released in theatres. The film is being made in Hindi and Telugu in preparation for a pan-Indian distribution.
