Ajay Devgn is notorious for pulling pranks while filming, and he did the same for his most recent movie, Drishyam 2. The crew initially thought someone was drowning in the sea, but subsequently realised it was simply one of Ajay’s practical jokes, according to actor Ishita Dutta.
On November 18, Drishyam 2 will be released in theatres. In the movie, which also stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Akshaye Khanna, Ajay reprises his role. Abhishek Pathak is the director of the film.
Ishita recalled the fun they had on set and told Dainik Bhaskar that Ajay would usually joke about and pull practical jokes on the crew of Drishyam 2. While filming a song, we unexpectedly became aware that someone was in the sea drowning. We were all startled, but we soon realised that Ajay Sir had prepared a joke with that person.
Drishyam, which debuted in 2015, was a remake of the 2013 Malayalam film of the same name with Mohanlal in the starring role. Nishikant Kamat, a director who received a National Award for his work, passed away in 2020.
Ajay is now working on his next film, Bholaa, in addition to Drishyam 2. He will also play the lead in the upcoming historical drama Maidaan from producer Boney Kapoor. Ajay will also appear in the thriller directed by Neeraj Pandey. His most recent film, Thank God, was released in theatres on October 25. Rakul Preet Singh and Sidharth Malhotra were also included.
