This achievement is remarkable and speaks volumes about the film’s popularity and appeal. Box Office Collection
Although the film’s collection has slightly slowed down at this stage, its longevity in theaters is a testament to its strong performance. The Kerala Story is on the brink of crossing the impressive Rs 240 crore-mark in the near future. On June 6, it minted approximately Rs 65 lakh, which is still a commendable figure considering the initial challenges the film faced. Notably, The Kerala Story was initially banned in Bengal and had limited screenings in Tamil Nadu. From the time of its release, The Kerala Story has been embroiled in controversies. However, it made a thunderous impact at the box office upon its theatrical release on May 5. On Day 18, the film crossed the coveted Rs 200 crore mark, demonstrating its widespread popularity. Although its collection has slowed down since then, early trade estimates suggest that on Day 34, June 7, The Kerala Story collected around Rs 65 lakh. This brings the total collection of the film to approximately Rs 238.22 crore, inching closer to the remarkable milestone of Rs 240 crore. Additionally, on June 7, the film had an overall occupancy rate of 12.40 percent in Hindi.
