With only a few notable exceptions, Bollywood has had a significant drought for a very long period. Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, and Shriya Saran must have been quite anxious last night ki kya yeh image bhi pitne wali hai, you can bet your last shirt (will this film also not do well). Nahin, lekin! It’s time to smile, and Bollywood is grinning as their blood pressure returns to normal. “Drishyam 2” is headed towards success. Abhishek Pathak, the son of Kumar Mangat, has already excelled in his second feature picture.
Currently, according to trade expert Taran Adarsh, the movie would bring in between Rs 45 and 50 crore during its first three days in theatres. “Ajay is excellent. Akshaye is exceptional. Tabu is fantastic. Shriya Saran is outstanding. What else do you require?”
The film keeps you on the edge of your seat, Taran says once more. “Its peak is what makes it beautiful. The second half is outstanding.” Another trade expert, Amod Mehra, echoes this sentiment and goes even farther, stating that he has a modest expectation of Rs 55 crore for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday together. More, Mehra “By the end of the first week, I predict it would have exceeded Rs 100 crore. It is a foregone conclusion.”
Taran adds ecstatically, “I desire “Drishyam 3.” This business will endure. The Malayalam version of “Drishyam 2″ is superior to the Hindi version.” Adding, Mehra “I adored the movie. It’s a lot of fun.”
