Akshay Kumar, Bollywood’s renowned action star, recently made a jaw-dropping revelation about the most challenging stunt of his career. In a daring act, he leaped from an aeroplane onto a hot air balloon, all without any safety gear. This audacious feat was performed during the shooting of “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” his latest film.
The Man of Action: Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar is a name synonymous with action in the Indian film industry. Known for his daredevil stunts and remarkable fitness, Akshay has consistently pushed his limits to deliver high-octane action sequences in his films. While his fans are always in awe of his courage and agility, the actor himself describes his daring approach as “madness.”
The Most Dangerous Stunt of His Career
In a recent interaction at the trailer launch of his upcoming film, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” Akshay spoke about the most dangerous stunt he had ever performed. He recounted an action sequence where he had to jump from a moving plane onto a hot air balloon to save the lead actress.
The Leap of Faith
Akshay’s narration of the daring feat was as thrilling as the stunt itself. He said, “The biggest action sequence I have done in my life was when I had to stand on a plane. I had to catch a running plane while it was on the runway. I had to catch it, climb and stand on top of it and then jump onto a hot-air balloon. It was pure madness. I was mad. I was crazy. I tried, once in my life, to test God and thankfully I was safe.” Akshay further revealed that he had a 70% chance of not surviving the stunt, which made it all the more dangerous. However, the thrill of the moment and the adrenaline rush propelled him to take the risk.
Safety Measures
Despite his daredevil image, Akshay acknowledged the importance of safety measures while performing stunts. He mentioned that he carefully scrutinises the safety measures for the entire crew before embarking on an action film. He said, “Now I have become a bit samajhdaar (sane), now I think ten times before attempting something like this. My job at the moment is to preserve myself and keep myself healthy”
The Unstoppable Akshay Kumar
During the shooting of “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” Akshay sustained a knee injury. Despite the pain, he continued to shoot, reinforcing his image as a committed and unstoppable actor. His dedication and commitment to his craft have earned him the admiration of both his fans and colleagues in the industry.
