22nd March, Mumbai: Numerous Bollywood stars were present at the memorial service of Mumbai-based restaurant owner Kishor Bajaj. Celebrities including Sanjay Dutt, Aamir Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor paid their final respects to Bajaj, who passed away on March 17. Bajaj gained recognition for introducing India’s first Michelin-star restaurant.
Sanjay Dutt, dressed in a white outfit, arrived at the prayer location accompanied by his sisters, Priya and Namrata, displaying emotional sentiments. Aamir Khan was also present at the gathering, accompanied by his former spouse, Kiran Rao.
Saira Banu made a rare appearance, and among the attendees were Jackie Shroff, Bhavana Panday with her husband Chunky Panday, Boman Irani, Satish Shah, Tina Ambani, Alanna Panday, and her spouse Ivor, along with a few others from the entertainment industry. In addition, some businessmen were also spotted at the gathering.
Sohail Khan accompanied Salim Khan during his recent public appearance, which marks the filmmaker and lyricist’s first appearance since his son Salman Khan received a threatening email and had his security increased. Although Salman is believed to be currently away from Mumbai, security measures have been heightened around his Galaxy apartment in response to the situation.
Restrictions have been put in place by the Mumbai police to prevent fans from gathering outside Salman Khan’s residence. An FIR has been filed against Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and a third individual named Rohit, who are accused of sending a threatening email to Salman’s office. Kishor Bajaj was a well-known personality in the film industry and had founded the Badasaab Group. He brought the first Michelin restaurant, Hakkasan, to Mumbai and also launched Yauatcha, a popular tea and dim sum destination in London, in Mumbai along with several other outlets. One of his most famous ventures is CinCin, an Italian restaurant and bar favoured by celebrities, which has been operational since 2017 and continues to be a popular destination.
