History
As a joint venture between the Tata Group and the Tetley Group, Tata Tea was established in 1964. In the years that followed, the corporation bought a number of additional tea businesses, including Williamson Magor & corporation, Finlay Tea and Coffee Company, and Good Earth Tea. Tata Tea became the biggest tea firm in the world in 2000 after acquiring Tetley Group. Tata Global Beverages was given the name Tata Tea in 2012.
