Together, Raghuvir Shekhawat and Ravindra Gautam founded Dooni 4 Films, a producing company. Although the former has helmed several productions, the later is the guy responsible for crafting numerous well-known plays. They said that the moniker Do Dooni 4 Films came about since their combined experience and knowledge have quadrupled the originality of their banner.
Their second program, “Dahej Daasi,” will shortly go live, while their first show, “Shravani,” is now airing. “Raghuvir Shekhawat (writer-producer) and I have over 25 years of experience in this industry,” Ravindra said. Throughout the past 25 years, Raghuvir ji has been one of TV’s most prolific writers. He has also helmed and produced a number of hit TV dramas, movies, and web series. “There couldn’t have been a better name,” he said. “A writer-director duo together as a creative force is always double power,” and these are the days of “double engine ki sarkaar.”
The production brand was created since they have similar interests and have produced several hits together as colleagues. “The secret to every film, web series, or TV show’s success is a strong script and director. Together, we’ve written and directed a number of popular TV episodes, and we’ve always admired and enjoyed each other’s work,” Raghuvir remarked. Additionally, we got along well as coworkers on every project we worked on with, and since we are both creative types, we typically believed we might make a fantastic team. That was the beginning of “Do Dooni 4 Films,” he said.
According to Ravindra, a name’s significance lies in its ability to capture the audience’s attention at first glance. He said, “Everyone wants something catchy, something out of the box, something disruptive, whether it is the name, storyline, screenplay, or dialogues.”
Although he acknowledges that reputation matters, Raghuvir emphasized that establishing a rapport with the audience is just as crucial. It is and has always been crucial. A compelling narrative ‘has’ to engage the audience. Indeed, the public is far more sophisticated and knowledgeable now that there are so many outlets at their fingertips. However, they don’t only want realistic material; they also want everything else, including action, drama, fantasy, and romance, but it has to make sense. And that’s where we aim to score better as a seasoned writing and directing team,” he stated.
For their concert “Shravani,” the pair has gotten positive reviews and has described it as an amazing experience. “We are 250 episodes in, and we have the mandate of the audience,” said Ravindra. The data demonstrates how much they like our storytelling.
Future intentions? “We intend to serve all of the aforementioned, varied platforms that are currently in use. Numerous initiatives are in the works. Our second TV series will premiere on February 12 once the first 250 episodes of its successful run have been finished. In addition, we are producing criminal programs on an episodic basis for a major network,” Raghuvir said.
