On the occasion of new year, the actress Dipika Kakar shared her latest recipes through her recent vlog. Actress ensures to send food on the Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11 set. Dipika said, “It’s the first day of Jhalak shoot in the New Year, and I am going to make something sweet. I love lamingtons and my mom used to make a lot. I love it a lot. When I was a kid, my mom used to make these a lot. On my birthdays, I always wanted her to bake these. I would carry them to school as well.”
Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Cast 11 Loved Lamingtons
She made lamingtons, chicken rolls and banana walnut dark choco chip tea cakes. She shared, “I am on time and Ruhaan co-operated with me a lot as he ate and slept on time.” She packed them neatly and said, “I made the chicken rolls for Shoaib’s team. I made lamingtons after a long time. Everything reached on time and everyone enjoyed it.”
Dipika Kakar Explaining About Lemingtons
Dipika Kakar talking about the recipe, “Lamingtons are basically sponge cakes covered in chocolate and coated with desiccated coconut.After many years, when I read up about the recipe, I learnt that it’s an Australian delicacy. I was very happy to know that I could make Australian delicacies. It is yum. I made the plain one. Currently, there are many versions and many new versions, which I probably don’t even know of.”
