The Shark Tank India host from the previous season, Rannvijay Singha, is not present this time around. Despite many speculating as to why Rannvijay was forced to leave the show, the actor finally disclosed the cause. The former Shark Tank host in India says he enjoyed meeting the next generation of businesspeople.

According to a story by Hindustan Times, Rannvijay had a great experience and “loved the concept of the show”. He realized there was nothing much he could do, and hence he decided to quit. He says, “As a host, I did not have much to do. By the time the edits were done, we all realized that there was no way to push more of Rannvijay on the show.”
Later, Rannvijay Singha explains that the choice was made in accordance with an understanding between the Shark Tank India creators. He claims, “Even in the first season’s editing, it seemed like there was no room. It was more of a consensus choice. The production now produces more than one show. There will be additional occurrences.
Rannvijay’s contributions to Shark Tank India were little in comparison to his previous series. As the host of the other series, he acknowledged that he could not have much fun on Shark Tank India. Rannvijay Singha said of his decision to participate in Shark Tank India Season 1: “I wanted to give myself the chance to move out of my comfort zone.”
