03 May 2023, Mumbai: Apurva Agnihotri is an actor known for his roles in films like Jodha Akbar, Pardes and the television show Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin. He is also known for his philanthropic work. What many people don’t know is that Agnihotri was actually training to become a pilot before he became an actor. Agnihotri was born in a small town in Uttar Pradesh.
His family moved to Delhi when he was in his teens. He was always fascinated by flying and wanted to become a pilot. He took up a job at an airline to finance his flying lessons. He was determined to become a pilot and worked hard to make it happen. Agnihotri was also very passionate about acting. He had acted in plays in school and college.
Apurva was born on the 9th of December, 1976 in Mumbai, India. He attended St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai and is a graduate of the University of Mumbai. Apurva was initially training to become a pilot, however, his life changed when he was cast in the television series Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin. He went on to appear in several other television shows and feature films. Apurva was a contestant on the second season of the reality show Bigg Boss and was the runner up. He also won the Nach Baliye reality show with his wife Shilpa Saklani.
He decided to take a chance and auditioned for a movie. To his surprise, he got the role and thus started his journey in Bollywood. Agnihotri’s career in the film industry took off and he soon became a popular face.
