23 May 2023, Mumbai: Sidharth Joshi commenced his professional journey with the guidance of Hon’ble Justice S.C. Jain, a respected advocate, dedicated two years of his career to this association. Afterward, he ventured into establishing his own practice. Throughout his career, he has successfully handled over 4500 cases, with a significant portion exceeding 2000 cases related to the High Courts and Supreme Court. Mr. Joshi possesses expertise in presenting, arguing, and drafting various cases for the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and esteemed High Courts such as Delhi, Bombay, Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh, Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad, and Himachal Pradesh at Shimla. He also has proficiency in handling cases concerning several Tribunals, including the Debt Recovery Tribunal, Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Customs Excise Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) in Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai, the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), and Consumer Dispute Redressal forums at the district, state, and national levels.
Before pursuing his career in law, Sidharth Joshi completed Commerce studies at Kendriya Vidhyala AGCR College. He obtained his LLB. Hons degree in 2006 from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi. He furthered his education by completing a P.G.D.I.P.R. from The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) and a PGDM from the Institute of Management & Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad.
While Mr. Joshi acknowledges the role of luck in his achievements, he firmly believes that hard work is the key to success. He endured a challenging journey, dedicating 16-18 hours a day to his work, maintaining focus, and continuously developing his skills as a lawyer by learning from every opportunity. According to Mr. Joshi, success requires 70% hard work, 20% intelligence, and 10% focus on analysing and reflecting on one’s actions to identify areas for improvement. He emphasises the importance of analysing both successes and mistakes, as they provide valuable lessons. Mr. Joshi values learning from the success of others and believes that professional growth stagnates when one stops being willing to learn. He actively contributes to society by undertaking pro bono work, assisting low-income individuals, and advocating for underserved populations such as the elderly, victims of domestic abuse, and children.
