The actor gained worldwide recognition for his outstanding performance in the film adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s novel in 2021, directed by Ramin Bahrani. Nevertheless, Gourav remains optimistic about his future in the global acting community, and believes that he will travel extensively for his work. He has a strong gut feeling that it will happen.
According to him, New York is an enjoyable city to be in, even if you’re just casually walking around with a cup of coffee. Gourav can be seen in the fifth episode of Extrapolations titled “2059 Part II: Nightbirds”, where he portrays a driver in Mumbai in the year 2059, where clean air has become a valuable commodity that can be bought and sold. In the episode, his character is entrusted with transporting a valuable cargo alongside a companion.
