22nd April 2023, Mumbai: ‘Record of Youth’ actor Park Bo Gum and K-pop soloist IU are featured in the upcoming historical drama ‘You Have Done Well. Ae Soon (IU) and Gwan Shik (Park Bo Gum) are two characters in the drama “You Have Done Well” who were both born in Jeju in the 1950s. Gwan Shik will be responsible and grounded, in contrast to Ae Soon’s anxiety and disobedience.
IU will play a character that comes from a lowly background yet is always energised and enthusiastic. On the other side, Park Bo Gum’s character will be that of a man who is concentrated and almost detached from what is happening around him. When Gwan Shik meets Ae Soon, a girl who is constantly experiencing emotional ups and downs, things become complicated.
Recently, Park Bo Gum and IU are rumoured to have been spotted on the You Have Done Well sets, shocking fans. An anonymous internet user posted images on their SNS of what appeared to be the filming of a drama scene. The internet user disclosed that they came across the actors while travelling and stopped to take pictures of them. The images have been successful in igniting fans’ excitement for “You Have Done Well,” despite only providing a zoomed-in, pixelated peek of the two performers.
The movie “You Have Done Well” will debut later this year and, according to reports, will air on Netflix.
South Korean actor Park Bo Gum, 29, made his acting debut in the South Korean thriller “Blind” in a supporting role. After thereafter, he made appearances in a number of films and TV shows, but Park Bo Gum didn’t become well-known in South Korea until the release of Wonderful Days and Naeil’s Cantabile. IU, a K-pop soloist, made her debut as a singer in the entertainment world at the age of barely 15. The singer and actress has since participated in a wide range of popular music and television projects, such as “Dream High,” “Moon Lovers: Scarlett Heart Ryeo,” and “Hotel Del Luna.”
