Early Life
Sai Sudarshan was born to Bhardwaj R. and his mother, Alagu Usha Bharadwaj. Sai had been chubby and fat since childhood, but as his father was an athlete, he made him work hard to get into shape. Sai has been a big fan of cricket since childhood; whenever he saw a bat, he just started playing with it. When Sai saw the bat for the first time, he fell in love with it, and he thought, “I have to do something in cricket,” his parents were athletes, and they were his great inspiration along with other cricket players.

Sai Sudarshan did his elementary schooling in Chennai, the school identified as DAV School, Chennai. For his secondary education, he changed his school and went to Santhome Higher Secondary School. After completing his graduation, Sai Sudarshan went to Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, where he pursued a degree in bachelor of commerce.
Career
“My journey started when I saw the bat for the first time and started playing,” says Sai.
Since childhood, Sai has gotten a lot of support from his parents in terms of cricket, health, and mental health. His game was improved by his father day by day, and his striking abilities got him places in U14, U16, and U19. Sai then played for many trophies like Vijay Hazare, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, and Ranji Trophy later on in February 2022. Sai was purchased by the Gujarat Titans.

Sai Sudarshan’s family consists of his father, Bharadwaj R, who is an international athlete; his mother, Alagu Usha Bharadwaj, who is a state-level volleyball player; and his brother.
