21st June 2023 Mumbai: Adipurush’s production company, T-Series, revealed on Wednesday that viewers can now see the movie on Thursday and Friday for just 150 rupees. This occurs after Adipurush’s box office earnings fell on Monday and Tuesday. The movie has come under fire for its VFX and dialogue.
T-Series posted a poster for the movie on Instagram. On it, it said, “Special deal on June 22 and 23. For only $150, see the grandeur in 3D. Every Indian will now watch Adipurush, according to the proverb, Ab har Bharatiya dekhega. Families are welcome. Containing modified and updated dialogue.” “Experience the epic tale in 3D on the big screen at the most reasonable price,” it said in the post’s caption. “Offer for tickets beginning at Rs150 not valid in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.”
The film’s production team recently revealed that the film’s lines that offended people’s feelings would be modified. On Wednesday, a follower sent a video to Twitter in which Bajrang (Lord Hanuman) modified a line. A previous version of this sentence read, “Kapda tere baap ka, tel tere baap ka, aag bhi tere baap ki, aur jalegi bhi tere baap ki.” The line that is currently in use is “Kapda teri Lanka ka, tel teri Lanka ka, aag bhi teri Lanka ki, aur jalegi bhi teri Lanka hi.” After revisions.
The epic Ramayana adaption Adipurush had a strong debut weekend at the movie office. On Friday of last week, the movie was released nationwide in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil. Prabhas plays Raghav (Ram) in Adipurush, and Kriti Sanon as Janaki (Sita) and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Raavan).The movie was written by Manoj Muntashir and directed by Om Raut. Among other things, he has come under fire for his portrayal of Lord Hanuman in the Lanka Dahan scene. He had stated on Sunday that the group will “revise some of the dialogues” and that the revised lines would be included in the movie by this week.T-Series, the production company behind the film, which reportedly cost 500 crores to make, tweeted on Wednesday that it has made 395 crores in box office revenue in just five days. However, a breakdown of these official figures revealed that the Monday and Tuesday figures were much less than the movie’s opening weekend earnings: 140 crore on the first day, then 100 crore on each of the following two days, as per news agency. Adipurush earned ₹35 crore on Monday and ₹20 crore (gross figures) on Tuesday.
