One of the colossally successful films of the previous two years is Spider-Man: No Way Home. Even after two screenings and a digital premiere that was merely the icing on the cake, the movie that opened in theatres last December is still making waves. Almost everyone in the world was impressed by the film, which was a true celebration of Peter Parker. It appears that Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams is not too impressed, despite the fact that it continues to attract more and more admirers with each passing month.
No Way Home was the third instalment of Tom Holland’s hugely popular Spider-Man trilogy, according to the uninitiated. Three Peter Parkers were brought together in the film to confront the many adversaries that gathered in one location as a result of the opening of the multiverse’s gates, including Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland. The film made a tonne of money and overtook even Avatar as the highest earner globally.
The Game of Thrones alumna has given her thoughts on the extremely popular Spider-Man: No Way Home in her most recent interview with the Giant Freakin Robot. “The Marvel movie, starring Tom Holland, was dubbed by the actor as the biggest movie letdown of the year. The newest Spider-Man was the biggest movie I was disappointed with this year. Its name escapes me at the moment. All of their titles are really similar”, she observed.
“I think a little bit of the soul was lost because they were simply so eager to get them all on screen together,” the author said. Masie did concur, though, that she adored the Spider-Man reboot starring Tom Holland. She continued, “No Way Home was just a little bit disappointing, but I will see the next one”.
