Jake Gyllenhaal, a Hollywood celebrity, has experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to capture intimate moments on camera. According to “Mirror.co.uk,” the actor admitted that he felt “awkward” during filming sex scenes with Jennifer Aniston and called the entire process “torture.”
The actors co-starred in the 2002 comedy “The Good Girl,” which depicts two loves who become disillusioned with their unfulfilling occupations and eventually have an affair. Jake Gyllenhaal, 42, said that he had a serious infatuation on Jennifer, 53, which made it challenging to film s*x scenes with her.
“It was torture, yes it was, but it was also not torturing. I mean, come on. It was like a mix of both,” Jake Gyllenhaal joked during an appearance on ‘The Howard Stern Show’, quoted by ‘Mirror.co.uk’.
Jake expressed his discomfort by saying: “Weirdly, sexual moments are embarrassing since there are maybe 30, 50 people watching. That doesn’t turn me on”
“Most of the time, it’s weirdly mechanical, right,” Jake Gyllenhaal continued. “Additionally, you choreograph the dance for the camera. It’s one of those battle scenes that you have to orchestrate, and I’ve always tried to do that.”
Then Jake Gyllenhaal informed host Howard that Jennifer Aniston had advised them to use a pillow to make themselves more at ease during the bedroom scenes.
