26 March, Mumbai:Jonathan Majors, who starred in Creed III and Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania, was detained on Saturday in Manhattan on suspicion of strangling, assault, and harassment. According to the authorities, the actor is accused of choking a 30-year-old lady after a domestic quarrel. Majors was detained after being accused of hitting his girlfriend.
The actor was taken Into custody on Saturday morning at approximately 11:15 a.m. in Chelsea near West 22nd Street and 8th Avenue after the police received a call from a potential 911 caller. The victim, who had minor head and neck injuries, reported being assaulted to the authorities. She was transferred to a local hospital in stable condition, according to the police report, they added.
According to a report, the woman was Jonathan’s girlfriend, and the victim informed the police that they had a fight in a cab on the way home from a Brooklyn pub. A laceration behind her ear, redness, and bruises on her face were among the woman’s head and back injuries. According to a statement from an NYPD official, “The victim told officers that she had been assaulted. The 33-year-old man was taken into custody by officers without any problems. The sufferer, who had minor head and neck injuries, was sent to a nearby hospital in stable condition.’
The Ant-Man actor’s girlfriend allegedly chose to confront him and look at his phone when she noticed him texting with another lady, according to the sources the police were informed of.
