In a recent conversation on The Filmy Charcha Podcast, host Rahul Varun sat with Krishnavataram star and Vaaste fame Sidhharth Gupta for a conversation about the years before Krishnavataram. Asked about the struggle phase, the actor replied "Struggle word mujhe pasand nahi hai. Mujhe lagta hai struggle bahut hi ek negative connotation ke saath aata hai. Kaun nahi kar raha struggle. Aapko lagta hai jo star ban gaya wo struggle nahi kar raha. Hamari definition ke liye usko bhi karna padega. Main ye kahunga ki I was hustling. Ek journey chal rahi thi. Of course bahut difficulty thi aur aasaan nahi hai."
Sidhharth Gupta Opens Up About Family Pain And Tough Decisions
The actor admitted "Jab aap bade kaam ke liye kaam mana karte hain aur phir wo kaam na ho to bahut zyada problems aap face karte hain. Har tareeke se. Har mayne se. Apni family ke liye unko bahut dukh hota hai. Jo aapki family hai wo suffer karti hai aapke liye ki itna bright ladka yahan atka pada hai. Of course bahut sad ek part aata hi hai sabki life mein." The performer also made it clear that overnight success was never part of his story.
Big Opportunities Slipped Away Before Krishnavataram
Recalling difficult years, Sidhharth Gupta shared "Mere saath bahut baar aisa hua hai ki main shortlist hua hoon bahut badi badi cheezon ke liye. Bade bade filmmakers ne mujhe baithaya hai aur cheezein hui nahi. You could question. Industry aise hi chalti hai." The actor added "Maybe in time if I can bring about a change. If God blesses me with enough power. I would like to bring about a lot of change yahan. Jisse young actors line of fire mein na ho aur exploited na ho. Aur wo better guided ho."
Years Of Rejections Made Him Extra Careful
The Vaaste star explained "Kehte hain doodh ka jala chaas bhi phook phook ke peeta hai. Mere liye jab ye film bhi mili tab tak main set pe nahi pahunch gaya tab tak mujhe lagta tha kuch kharab ho jayega. Pehle din set pe bhi laga abhi kuch ho jayega." Sidhharth Gupta continued "Ye negativity nahi thi. It's just being too cautious. Meri life mein itni baar hua hai. Aadhi film shoot hoke band ho gayi. Achhe producer ki film ruk gayi. Kisi filmmaker ne teen saal baithaya phir hata diya. Wo aa gaya. Haan kuch aisa ho gaya kuch waisa ho gaya."
Why Success Matters More Than Talking About Struggle
Looking back, the actor said the past no longer defines him. Sidhharth Gupta concluded "Ab jo hai so hai. I don't look at that. Jo nikal gaya wo nikal gaya. Let's not glorify our struggles. Let's celebrate our success." The conversation reflected how years of setbacks shaped the actor's thinking but did not stop him from moving forward with hope and confidence.
