The streaming giant has announced the launch of its first-ever restaurant, ‘Netflix Bites’, which will feature food from its most popular cooking shows. The pop-up restaurant is set to open its doors on June 30 in Los Angeles, offering fans an immersive culinary experience.
Prepare for an extraordinary gastronomic escapade as ‘Netflix Bites’ unveils an all-star menu, featuring dishes from renowned chefs of Netflix cooking shows like ‘Chef’s Table,’ ‘Is It Cake?,’ ‘Nailed It!,’ and ‘Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend.’ Book your irresistible journey online, with reservations requiring a nonrefundable $25 deposit per person at the captivating Short Stories Hotel on 115 S. The ‘Netflix Bites’ experience goes beyond just food. The restaurant will also feature custom cocktails crafted by mixologists from the show ‘Drink Masters’. However, it’s important to note that the chefs will not be present on-site to meet and greet guests. Operating hours for the pop-up restaurant will be from 5 pm to 10 pm every day, with an additional special brunch menu available from 10 am to 2 pm on weekends. Netflix has described the dining experience as “elevated” and aims to provide fans with a chance to immerse themselves in their favorite food shows.
Excitement surrounds the upcoming launch, as Michelin-starred chef Curtis Stone expressed her enthusiasm, calling the project one of the biggest thrills of her life. Josh Simon, vice president of consumer products at Netflix, shared similar sentiments, stating that ‘Netflix Bites’ will create an in-person experience where fans can indulge in their favorite food shows. Netflix’s foray into the food industry follows its successful ventures into screen-to-life experiences with shows like ‘Bridgerton’, ‘Stranger Things’, ‘Money Heist’, and ‘Squid Game’. The launch of ‘Netflix Bites’ further solidifies the company’s commitment to providing unique and immersive experiences for its dedicated audience.
