1st April, 2024, Mumbai: In the film, which centers on farmers’ suicides and the struggles their families face afterward, she portrays a farmer’s widow.
Kiran is really happy with the response to her new movie.
“The feedback has been really good,” the speaker stated. The movie was highly appreciated by those who saw it. The film discusses a variety of topics, including the ways in which a farmer’s wife leads the home and asserts her own rights. Additionally, it depicts the lives of young widows between the ages of 22 and 23, and how they deal with the loss of their spouses. These tales are based on true events that transpired in Maharashtra’s Vidharb districts, where farmers have been killing themselves, abandoning their wives and kids to fend for themselves. In the film, there are some females who wish to go to school but are coerced into marriage.

The movie also depicts their academic struggles and their eventual departure from home to achieve their aspirations. It’s critical to have a conversation about how women can lead change and advocate for themselves. Its coverage of a wide range of significant subjects sets it apart from other Marathi films. Regretfully, Marathi films rarely have a long run in theaters or multiplexes; they sometimes just appear for three to four days during strange show times. This was an issue we too experienced with our film. In spite of this, a lot of people have seen and appreciated the film, she continued.
More Details About Kiran’s Professional Life
Kiran has worked in the Marathi and Bollywood film industries. She acknowledged that both the Marathi and Hindi movies had compelling narratives, though. Marathi films frequently center on real-life events, which I find fascinating. The actress remarked, “Hindi commercial films, on the other hand, have their own style, and I enjoy acting in those too. Hindi films can help connect with more people because they have a wider audience.”
Kiran, why do Hindi films stand out?
She went on, “Hindi films stand out because they typically have larger budgets. These days, there are a ton of fantastic regional films with original concepts. Assamese films, for instance, frequently tackle subjects that are profoundly ingrained in their customs and culture.
Although Kiran hasn’t worked on a daily soap opera recently and isn’t specific about the platform she uses, she stated she would be willing to do so if and when the chance presented itself.
I don’t pick one over the other on purpose. I believe it’s critical to investigate various acting platforms. Acting chances aren’t merely found in TV shows, movies, or online series. Your performance is what matters. I’m open to performing daily soap operas if the opportunity arises, but TV acting has its own norms and style,” she remarked.
Kiran wants to explore the comedy genre and is searching for characters that are unconventional and tough!
“I’m interested in trying out web series and short films in addition to enjoying major films and TV shows. Finding roles that bring me joy and let me portray tough people is what is really important to me. Even though humor requires a distinct acting technique and is difficult, I still want to give it a try. I’ll get new experiences and develop as an actor by doing new things like this, Kiran concluded.
