Kim Eun Sook, the author of The Glory Part 2, stated, “I’m so happy about how things have turned out to the point where it’s starting to get a little worrying. I reviewed the Part 2 script once again because the audience continued to adore the series. I felt much more frightened. As anticipated, the script is excellent.
The plot of this drama revolves around Moon Dong-eun, who suffered horrible bullying and physical assault at the hands of her classmates when she was 18. Seventeen years later, she is ready to make those who wronged her pay. The first part gave us early insight into Dong-eun’s revenge plan, and how she meticulously injects herself into the life of her bullies to exact her revenge. The second part is going to be more revenge-packed, if the teasers and trailors were any indication. This second part will conclude the final chapter in Dong-eun’s life, as she executes the final step in her revenge plan.
Song Hye Kyo talked about her portrayal of the character during a press conference about The Glory: “You’ll notice that I’ve completely taken on the persona of Moon
Dong Eun as you watch the second half of the series. I was successful in acting spontaneously and in keeping with the scenes. During such scenes, I was 100% in tune with the performers”, the actress added.
The first part of the series ended in an ominous tone, leaving fans both excited and anticipated. Some fans were speculating about a romance between the characters of Song Hye Kyo and Lee Do Hyun. We are excited to see how Dong-eun’s story is concluded in this second instalment.
