1st 2023, Mumbai: May Sohail Khan, the younger brother of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has reportedly restarted conversations with Salman about their long-awaited dream project, Sher Khan. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the team has taken the necessary time to lock the script for the film, and Sohail is excited to make it a reality with his brother. “Sher Khan is a dream project and the team has taken all the time to lock the script. Sohail is excited to make his dream project with Salman, and Bhai is also looking for a jungle adventure,” a source told Bollywood Hungama.
If Sher Khan is made, it will be the biggest film to be made by Sohail and Salman Khan. The project was initially shelved back in 2012 due to VFX issues. However, with VFX technology advancing in Indian cinema, the team is now considering revisiting Sher Khan as the time is right to make their very own Indiana Jones, the source added.
Salman Khan, on the other hand, has a busy schedule ahead of him. He is set to appear in Tiger 3 this Diwali and has Tiger v/s Pathaan, in which he will star alongside Shah Rukh Khan, up for release. Salman is also reportedly in talks with Dharma and Rajshri for upcoming film projects.
Sher Khan has been a long-awaited project for the Khan brothers and their fans. While it is not clear when the project will come to fruition, it is clear that Sohail and Salman are committed to making it happen.
