9th March,2024, Mumbai: The popular Star Plus series Anupamaa, starring Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi, features Rupali Ganguly as Anupamaa, a figure who inspires women of all ages and backgrounds to fight for their rights and speak up for themselves. The actress thinks that having this role, which is all about empowering women, is a blessing.
“I feel so fortunate to have been playing a character that has impacted women’s power”, Says Rupali
She remarked, “I feel so fortunate to have been playing a character that has impacted women’s power and highlighted the strength of women,” in reference to International Women’s Day, which is observed on March 8. I consider this responsibility to be above my wildest expectations, and I am grateful that Rajan Ji offered me this chance and opportunity.“We represent such a strong character, and I feel blessed every day, so for me, every day is Women’s Day,” she continued.
Who Is Rupali’s Motivation?
Rupali credited 78-year-old producer Deepa Shahi as her motivation for beginning a profession. “Anupamaa takes a lot from her and her personal experiences,” she continued. Regardless of what occurs, we must go on and make a fresh start. Being totally resilient is, in my opinion, always akin to a phoenix.
Rupali On Her Mentor And Leader
Rupali has nothing but praise for Rajan and has referred to him as her mentor and leader. “I dare not refer to him as my friend. He is Anupama’s creator. So he’s the reason behind me, whatever I am now. I’m sure there are countless more talented actors out there than me who are simply waiting for their big break. But I never would have gotten the opportunity to showcase my talent if he hadn’t given me a chance. She remarked, “Rajan ji has always supported me as an actor, been the engine of the entire unit, and has always been happy with my accomplishments.
She praises the producer, stating that Anupamaa is his vision and that Rajan ji is amazing and incredibly brilliant. Since Anupamaa belongs to Rajan Shahi, I will never be able to acquire it. I consider myself fortunate to be portraying Anupamaa,” Rupali said.
