Finally, after a long wait, there is great news for all Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s fans. The trailer of the most awaited movie of the year, Yashoda is finally out. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam in the theatres on 11 November 2022.
The movie is directed by Hareesh Narayan and Hari Shankar. Apart from Samantha Ruth Prabhu, actors like Unni Mukundan, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, and Murali Sharma will be seen in pivotal roles in the movie. Sridevi Movies have produced the film Yashoda.
The trailer portrays Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the skin of Yashoda who basically is a surrogate mother. However, soon discovers a serious medical crime taking place and decides to fight it.
Besides all the action scenes, the trailer also reveals a little romantic aspect happening between Unni Mukundan and Ruth Prabhu. Visuals of Varalaxmi reveal his negative side to the story. The trailer looks promising. Moreover, the visuals, background score, and production values look superb.
Yashodato appears to be a science fiction thriller film that centers on the seedy side of the surrogacy business where the wealthy trample on the weak.
Previously in an Interview with Pinkvilla, Hari-Harish had informed about Yashoda being based on a true incident with some added psychological thriller to that. He said. “The backdrop of the story is about a crime that is happening without the knowledge of anyone in society. The crime which we are showing is based on a true incident but we have added some psychological thriller flavor to it. It is about a crime that is confronted by a normal girl when she learns about it. How she exposes is the plot”.
Since the trailer has been dropped, It has become the talk of the town. The majority of the responses have been so far very overwhelming. All seems to be in head -over heels with Samantha for her spectacular performance.
After her blockbuster success with Pushpa’s ‘Oo Antava’ and her acclaimed performance in ‘The Family Man, Samantha is preparing for her first Hindi movie appearance with Yashoda. Varun Dhawan launched the Yashoda trailer in Hindi, Vijay Deverakonda in Telugu, Dulquer Salmaan in Malayalam, Suriya in Tamil, and Rakshit Shetty in Kannada.
It will be interesting to see how the film will turn out to be. Will it stand on the expectations the trailer has set or will it be dissapointing? Only time will say.
