On May 7, singer Rakshita Suresh underwent an incredibly traumatic experience when she was involved in a car accident in Malaysia. Rakshita updated her admirers on her position via social media and explained that her car had struck with a road divider and sustained substantial damage.
Rakshita, who recently worked on Ponniyin Selvan 2 with music director AR Rahman, tweeted, “Met with a serious accident today. As I was returning to the Malaysian airport this morning, the vehicle I was riding in crashed into a barrier and crushed to the side of the road. During the 10 seconds of impact, my entire life flashed before my eyes.”
She added, “Thanks to the airbags, otherwise things would’ve been worse. Still shaking from whatever happened, but I’m so glad that me, the driver and the other co-passenger who was sitting in the front seat are safe with just minor external injuries and a few internal injuries. Grateful and lucky to be alive.”
