Yash, a stage name for Naveen Kumar Gowda, opposes disparaging any business due to political disputes.
The actor was frank in his discussion on coexistence among Indians. He urged his followers and Karnataka residents to recognise Bollywood for what it is—an industry. It is advantageous for everyone when good movies are made, whether they are generated by directors or performers involved in the film industry.
“I don’t want Karnataka residents to disparage other industries because we have experienced that issue in the past when people treated us unfairly. For that respect, we have put in a lot of effort. We cannot then start mistreating others. Everyone should be respected. Respect Bollywood,” he remarked in a Film Companion interview.
He urged his admirers to respect Bollywood and refrain from labelling it as useless. Given that there is much to be done, the nation should set the goal of constructing more theatres. He urged the younger generation to put an end to their disputes and work together to compete in the global arena.
