16th April 2023, Mumbai: Nandini Gupta from Rajasthan has won the title of Femina Miss India 2023, at the age of 19. Shreya Poonja from Delhi was declared the first runner-up, while Thounaojam Strela Luwang from Manipur became the second runner-up. The judges selected these three contestants from the 30 state winners who participated in the competition
Nandini, who hails from Rajasthan and won the Femina Miss India 2023 title, was crowned by Sini Shetty, the winner of Femina Miss India 2022 from Karnataka. Nandini will represent India at Miss World 2024. Shreya from Delhi and Thounaojam from Manipur, who were announced as the first and second runners-up respectively, were crowned by Rubal Shekhawat from Rajasthan and Shinata Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh, who were the first and second runners-up of Femina Miss India 2022.
Nandini Gupta, who comes from Kota in Rajasthan, exhibited remarkable organizational and hospitality abilities even when she was a young child. This encounter inspired her to pursue a degree in business management. Despite being only 19 years old, Nandini firmly believes that failures play a critical role in shaping one’s identity. As she embarks on an unforgettable journey, she is resolute in confronting all obstacles, setbacks, and rejections that may arise. Although she anticipates difficulties, Nandini is prepared to confront them head-on by viewing setbacks and failures as opportunities for growth and learning. The venue for Femina Miss India 2023 was the Indoor Stadium located at Khuman Lampak in Imphal, Manipur. The panel of judges for this year’s competition included Neha Dhupia, who was Femina Miss India Universe in 2002 and is now a mentor, as well as boxing legend Laishram Sarita Devi, renowned choreographer Terence Lewis, esteemed film director and writer Harshavarshan Kulkarni, and accomplished fashion designers Rocky Star and Namrata Joshipura.
