19th February,2024, Mumbai: One of the most memorable moments of living in a glass igloo was that one. It was an amazing experience to see the Himalayas during the day and the night sky. During the day, lying back in a Jacuzzi with your significant other and taking in the view of the snow-covered peaks is one of the most romantic scenes. Thanks to my wife Umarah, who found the location while looking through Instagram reels, we decided to go there. Our accommodations, the Infinity Sky Glamping, are a boutique hotel located in the heart of Himachal Pradesh, just thirty minutes from the vibrant town of Manali. It is a real hidden treasure. Only a month ago, it opened, so we were among the very few individuals who got a glimpse of this,” recalls Daanish.
Experiencing Warm Hospitality In The Hotel
“The employees are exceedingly amiable and committed, personifying the essence of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava,’” he continues. Meeting Mango, the amiable husky, and receiving a personal greeting and welcome from the owners enhanced the allure of the occasion. Being an animal lover, Umarah was compelled to pet her. It provides a singular and touching experience, making it unquestionably a must-visit location in Manali.”
Embracing the Mountains Of Himachal Pradesh
Expressing his passion for the mountains. “I’ve always had a great love for the mountains, and my brother Yasser was the one who first showed me about Himachal Pradesh’s wonders back in 2018.” He is affectionately known in our family as the “Brand Ambassador of Himachal Pradesh” since he makes it a point to travel to a new location each year. My fiancé and I thought about a number of choices, both in India and overseas, when it came time to organise our honeymoon,” he adds.
Insight from Family and Influential Figures
He continues, “Meeting my father-in-law, Mr. Rehman Naushad, provided valuable information regarding Dilip Kumar Sahab’s viewpoint on Indian tourism, which proved to be a turning point in our discourse. According to Dilip Saab, our nation has everything a traveller could ask for, including beaches, lush vegetation, mountains, and rainforests, all within its borders. He underlined how crucial it is to spend money domestically in order to boost regional economies and create jobs.
Appreciation for Government and Local Support For Making Traveling Easy
According to him, tourist travel to India is made to be as easy as possible. We decided to start this new chapter of our life in our country because of this inspiration. The Himachal Pradesh Tourism Board, the state government, and the Honourable Chief Minister Shri Sukhvinder Singh Suku took aggressive measures to ensure seamless transit for tourists like us, despite concerns about the aftermath of the September 2023 floods that ravaged Manali, he says.
“I also want to debunk any misunderstandings spread through the web’s feeds, urging visitors to trust their own senses rather than sensationalised reports,” he says, sharing his travel experience. We took a chance despite the predictions of severe traffic and were happily surprised to find clean roads even during rush hour. My conviction about India’s enormous potential for tourism promotion was strengthened by this trip. We would especially want to thank Sunny Paji, our driver and guide, for his hard work in making sure the trip went as smoothly and safely as possible. These unsung heroes should be honoured by the government as well as by us for their unceasing efforts and the accountability they bear in keeping people secure when travelling.
