Recently, leaked photos of BTS member J-Hope during his military service have surfaced online, bringing relief to the ARMY as they see he is in good health. Last week, J-Hope enlisted for military training, and his fellow BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook came to see him off. Just a week after his enlistment, photos of J-Hope wearing his military uniform have gone viral on social media.
The leaked images show J-Hope smiling and making finger-heart gestures with his squad, as well as posing for the camera while enjoying a meal in the canteen. Fans are sharing these images widely, expressing their support for the K-pop idol during his military service.
For those who may not be familiar, J-Hope is the second member of BTS to undergo South Korea’s mandatory military training, following Jin’s enlistment in December of last year. Reports revealed that J-Hope arrived at his assigned military base just seven minutes before the 2 pm deadline. Jin also requested time off from his duties to join his fellow BTS members in seeing J-Hope off.
It was further reported that J-Hope will undergo five weeks of training at the army boot camp in Gangwon Province. In his final Weverse live session before beginning his military training, J-Hope expressed his gratitude to the ARMY and greeted them with his signature warm hugs, introducing himself as “I am your hope.” He also shared that his expected discharge date from military duty is October 17, which will mark 18 months since his enlistment.
Upon reading a comment about his discharge date, J-Hope acknowledged it and assured fans that he will return safely, saying October 17, right. I’ll come back safely.The official Twitter account of BTS, the globally renowned group, has also shared photos of the band from the military centre with a caption that reads, “I love you, J-Hope.”
