Gurpreet Singh says Acting can be a rollercoaster ride
“The world of acting may be unpredictable! It’s all a part of the journey, even though the hours can be long and the preparation rigorous. The satisfaction of bringing a character to life can be just as satisfying as the financial gains. Thus, the effort is unquestionably warranted,” he responds.
“Everyone seems to think we’re swimming in money, but that’s not always the case,” he continues. Not all ventures pay equally, and there may be dry spells. I make an effort to be honest with my loved ones and let them know that life isn’t always glamorous.
Gurpreet Singh talks about his most difficult performances in his acting career
Speaking about his most difficult performance, he states, “Playing Sujal in “Kahin To Hoga” was one of my toughest gigs.” Do you think you could work 20 hours a day? Although it was difficult, the experience helped me become the performer I am now. The character of King Ambiraj in “Porus” was also noteworthy. It truly was a workout! I spent my time mostly in warrior mode, swimming, sword fighting, riding horses, and working out. Still, it was a tonne of fun and helped me advance as an aactor Regarding his first pay cheque as an actor, he remarks, “It was a significant occasion for me.” Giving it to my mother, who was ecstatic, is what I remember. It was a unique occasion.
Gurpreet Singh has done additional work for extra money other than acting
He replies, “Sure, I’ve done it to keep things fresh and to make ends meet during the quieter times,” when you ask him if he has ever taken on additional job to earn money on the side. It helps me improve my craft and keeps life interesting. I’ve had several unexpected turns in life, particularly since my separation in 2010. I had to change my priorities in order to handle property matters and legal cases. Without a doubt, it has been a learning experience!
“I’m all about balance,” he continues. As much as I want to live in the now, I’m also thinking forward and saving money. It’s all about being astute and making plans ahead of time while yet savouring the present!
